"Meine Bilder tauchen zunächst in meinem Inneren Erleben auf. Durch Farben, Formen und Kompositionen versuche ich etwas auszudrücken, das ich mit Worten nicht sagen kann. Poetisch durch Farben ins Licht gesetzt greife ich Emotionen und Lebenssituationen des Einzelnen auf, die nach dem Grundsätzlichen des Menschseins fragen. Bei allem, was meine Arbeit anregt, richtet sich mein Augenmerk immer wieder auf die Wahrnehmung und die künstlerische Interpretation des Existenziellen."

In dem Bild „Und wo ist MORGENLand“ (2023 I Acryl auf Leinwand I 30 x 40 cm) geht es um die Frage, wo ist unser Land von Morgen, was wird die Zukunft bringen. Es ist zugleich eine Anspielung auf den Exodus. Immer wieder müssen Menschen seit Anbeginn der Zeit ihre Heimat verlassen aufgrund von politischen Schwierigkeiten und Naturkatastrophen. Fühlt man sich als ein Teil der Menschheit, stellt sich die Frage der Verantwortung gegenüber der Gerechtigkeit für eine Lebensqualität für alle Menschen. Zudem wirft der Klimawandel die Frage auf, wie und in welchen Regionen der Erde ein zukünftiges Leben für alle Menschen möglich sein kann. Wo ist MORGENland?
